No, you don't need to be a paying user to become a Scrab Ambassador. While we encourage you to experience Scrab by signing up for a free or paid account, it's not a requirement.

What if the referred user requests a refund?
In cases where a referred user decides to request a refund, unfortunately, the corresponding referral commission won't be issued. Rewards are given for subscriptions that are maintained.
